To Support our Auchnerran Demonstration Farm at Auchnerran, the GWCT’s principal base in Aberdeenshire. Here we hope to emulate the great success the Allerton Project at Loddington has had in influencing farming policy and practice over many years, through demonstrating best practice and novel ideas directly to politicians, farmers, conservationists and the public in Scotland.
To Sponsor a student: our placement students make a vital contribution to the work of GWCT. Your money will mean that our students can contribute to in-depth research projects such as our key wader tagging and Grey Partridge initiatives.
To Support our research, advisory & policy work, varying from our research team’s work such as the Grey Partridge Project, the Scottish Mountain Hare Survey and work on grouse moors, to our advisory department’s busy schedule providing visits and courses, and the policy team’s engagement with members, the Scottish Government, its agencies and other stakeholders to bring forward policies that enshrine the Trust’s commitment to conservation through wise use.
