Fishing at Grimersta, Isle of Lewis
Description
One weeks’ (6 days) fishing for two rods at Grimersta, including full board and accommodation at Grimersta Lodge. Grimersta is renowned as a summer loch fishery, although the rivers and streams connecting the lochs can be prolific. Salmon and Grilse enter the system from early June, with the Sea trout running a little later. The main run is traditionally in mid-July, although fresh-run fish are taken up to the end of the season in October. There is a superb team of ghillies. The Grimersta changeover is on a Wednesday, with beats changing at 6.00 pm., and fishing through to the following Wednesday evening. Most guests opt to stay for the second Wednesday night. The offer includes all board (breakfast, a picnic lunch, afternoon tea and dinner) and accommodation at Grimersta Lodge. Not included are costs of travel, drinks or sundries.
To be taken during the 2025 Season, by arrangement.
