A week at Drimore Farm, South Uist

Drimore Farm is five bedroom, family-friendly farm house, on the Isle of South Uist, and is available to rent for one week (dates to be coordinated). The house can accommodate eight people, or up to two families, and dogs are welcome. South Uist is in the Western Isles of the Scottish Outer Hebrides, next stop westwards is Newfoundland, Canada! The island caters for all outdoor enthusiasts with stunning scenes for walkers, ample fresh air for cyclists, an array of birdlife, and 25 miles of white sand beaches. Trout loch fishing is available on the island but would need to be arranged with the estate separately (not included in this lot).
If the timing works, Bernard Williams has kindly offered to take a party out in his Rib for some sea fishing or ferrying to an island, for an added bonus! (Contact: bernard@ bernardwilliams.co.uk/ 07836 723673 to arrange).
The house is available for one week, with linen provided. There are several local stores that provide all amenities, including several fresh seafood and shellfish outlets. Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries run from the Scottish Mainland, from Oban, Malaig or Uig (on the Isle of Skye) to Lochboisdale (South Uist) or Uig (North Uist). There are also a couple of flights a week from Glasgow to Benbecula Airport.
